Free Antifreeze - Just Call Ahead

This is just a friendly reminder that if you need antifreeze for that farm tractor, for winterizing, or so you can get your daily driver through 'just one more winter', D&W Salvage, Inc. has you covered!

Each time we process a scrap vehicle, the antifreeze is drained, filtered, and stored in a 55 gallon drum. It is a mix of all types of antifreeze, so please be aware--we do not separate by type. When tested, it tests up to -45 degrees Fahrenheit. We currently have more antifreeze than we know what to do with--so we would be more than happy to provide our customers with some antifreeze, should they need it.

So how do you go about getting FREE antifreeze? It's easy!

1. Call Ahead. Give us a ring at 989-269-6829, press 9 at the main menu for the operator, and let us know that you're looking for some antifreeze.

2. Tell Us How Much You're Looking For. Need a 55 gallon drum? Multiple drums? Just a gallon or two? Let us know so we can be sure we have it ready for you.

3. Tell Us When You Plan to Arrive. In order to have your antifreeze ready for you, we need to know when you plan to pick it up. So just give us an idea of day/time.

4. For Small Amounts: Bring Your Own Container. Should you require anything less than a 55 gallon drum, be sure to bring your own jugs/containers and we will happily fill them for you. Usually old antifreeze, washer fluid, or even empty detergent bottles work best. Gallon milk jugs tend to break down and leak over time, so it is recommended that you avoid using them, if at all possible.

5. Stop at the Stop Signs Upon Arrival. When you show up to get your antifreeze, stop at the stop signs by the new office and wait in your vehicle (just like when you bring us scrap). We will come out to speak with you, and will direct you to the appropriate department to get your antifreeze.

It really is that easy! Give us a call today so we can set you up with some antifreeze!
