Excuse Our Construction Mess

As you may already know, D&W Salvage is currently in the process of undergoing construction and renovations in order to make things better for both our customers and our employees.

On 8-29-19, we will begin removing a large portion of old cracked and worn-out concrete from the area near the entrance to our yard. If you plan to visit our yard during this phase of construction, please be sure to take note of the following:

  1. Expect Delays. Equipment and construction workers may temporarily block driveways or main thoroughfares as they complete their processes. As such, this can cause the traffic flow in our yard to slow down. Please be patient during these delays, knowing that we will help you as soon as we can.

  2. Obey Signage. During construction you may notice signs telling you to keep out, use caution, or slow down. While the placement of these signs may be an inconvenience, they are there for a reason. Please do not move/remove any of these signs, or enter any areas that are telling you to keep out.

  3. Listen Carefully. At times, our employees may have special instructions for safely navigating around the construction. Please listen carefully to the instructions they are giving you, and be sure to ask questions if there is anything that you do not understand.

  4. Slow Down. Please drive slowly when navigating our yard. This ensures that you have time to react in the event that a person or piece of construction equipment suddenly begins to move in front of you. It also ensures that you and your vehicle do not suffer damage/injury while driving over any uneven, rough, or bumpy terrain.

Keeping the above items in mind will make your next visit to D&W Salvage a safer, and more pleasant one. And remember, the little inconveniences now will all be worth it in the end!
